Apparition No. 3

Forever hasn't changed,
the moon rises and nights end.
I thrive happily in my exclusive sea,
knowing each wave and minuscule seaweed.

At dusk, amongst the foggy shore,
unknown currents that I adore
pull me into whirlwinds,
falling but still not drowning.

Hold my breath, stop my heart,
help me to let go.
I fear dying in your arms,
but even more never dancing in them.

And I look at you,
the sun and moon sparkling through,
the fishes adoring you,
your perfect smile of tides unknown.

You smile at me,
the sun blocking your view.
You smile in amiable gesture,
you trapped my heart in imprudent mistake.

Even if I tremble
or shake
or cry
or puke
or pray for not drowning in you.

Even if I run
or kick
or hate
or deny
I just know, my heart shall be flustered NEVERMORE.
